Slim Down Your Genes

"You aren't destined to gain weight just because fat runs in
your family, a new study reports. The key to overriding your
DNA: physical activity, which weakens the effect of a gene
linked to obesity. Aim to move 30 minutes per day, five days
a week. Here are a few activities that count toward that half
hour: taking the stairs, walking the dog, working in the garden,
cycling to work."
